What is neurodivergence?
The term developed as we have gained an understanding of the human brain and how it works. Variations in how people think, communicate, form beliefs, and internalize information are as varied as nature itself.
The term neurodivergent means that a person’s brain operates a little differently than a typical person.
Why will this model work well for my kid?

For most students, learning by doing and individual goals are helpful, but we add Universal Design for Learning and a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship built into daily activities, not just an add-on or special activity.
If your student is neurodiverse, think about this statistic: even though only 15-20% of people are neurodivergent, estimates from reliable sources put the pool of innovators at 48% and entrepreneurs at 43%!!
Research has shown that kids with dyslexia, adhd, and autism in particular have strengths in pattern recognition, hyperfocus, and creativity. These qualities directly contribute to the success of innovators and entrepreneurs.
Neurodivergent people gravitate toward and succeed as innovators and Entrepreneurs.

Students work on executive functioning skills during practical application.
While planning and organizing, students ask, “What matters most right now?”
While initiating a task, students ask, “What is one small first step?”
Working memory will be addressed as students ask, “What do I need to remember while I work?”
While they work on their passion projects, executive functioning skills will improve.
